The national parks are offering 3 fee-free weekends this summer at more than 100 parks that usually charge fees. Check http://www.nps.gov/findapark/feefreeparks.htm to find out more.

We're definitely going to take advantage of this since Micki has started working on Junior Ranger badges! Some close or relatively close to the KC area include the Truman Home here in Independence, Fort Scott, KS, and the Gateway Arch in St. Louis.
