CVS

I only had $1.99 in ECB from Black Friday, so I didn't have much "seed money".  :-)

I looked at Savings Lifestyle for my deals.

Dawn (9.5 – 10.3 oz), $0.88

$0.50/1 Dawn Hand Renewal Dish Liquid 11/28/2010 P&G Insert (exp 12/31/2010) and 10/31 P&G (exp 11/30/10
Final Price: $0.38 each

$0.97 Puffs Tissue

$0.25/1 Puffs 10/31/2010 P&G Insert (exp 11/30/2010)
Net Price $0.74 each

The retail would have been $12.54.  I paid $0.59 which is a 95% savings.  Not bad, but I didn't earn any Extra Care Bucks.  :-(

Walgreens

I had those $22 in Register Rewards from Black Friday, so I was eager to go to Walgreens.  I got my deals from Bargain Briana.

Now, on my first deal, Briana mentioned RR, but here we get 10X the points when you buy 2.

So, Quaker oatmeal 2/$5.
$2/1 coupons that was printable a few weeks ago.  Use 2 coupons.)
Final Price: 2/$1 or $.50 each box!

Wrigley’s Eclipse Gum (12 pc) – 3/$2

Earn $1 “Jingle Cash”
Final Price after “Jingle Cash”: 3/$1

SalonPas Pain relief Patches (5 pk) – $5.99

Earn $5.99 “Jingle Cash”
Final Price after “Jingle Cash”: FREE

There were other deals she mentioned but I got points instead of RR for them which made them less attractive to me, so I didn't bite.

My retail total was $19.86.  I paid $0.24 which is a savings of 99%.  I earned $7 in RR which means I was paid $6.76.

My Black Friday

I usually don't do much in the way of Black Friday.

The one thing I do get up for is the sale at the Plus Size Consignment Shop here in town.  The sale starts at 50% if you arrive between 6AM-7PM and drop a little each hour until noon.  They usually provide free breakfast for their customers.  I was devastated when I walked in and there was no breakfast even though it had been advertised!

Oh well, I still spent $32 which was at 50% savings.  So, retail there would have been $64 and who knows how much the clothes were originally.

I also hadn't made a Walgreens or CVS run in weeks.  I decided since I was going to be up anyway, I might as well make some runs there.  I also made sure to do my free collage print before I went, so I could pick it up during my shopping.

Since I'm "a little rusty", I'm not going to take the time to list all my deals.  I found most from Bargainbriana.com.

At Walgreens, my retail would have been $41.19 including my free 8x10 collage print.  I paid $22.41 which is a savings of 46%.  Not as good as usual except I received $22.24 back in Register Rewards.  That make a total savings of almost 146%!

I didn't get as much at CVS.  My retail was $9.66, but I paid $3.67 making a savings of 62%.  I received $1.99 back in ECB which made my total $1.68.  That means I ended up with a savings of 83%.

And so ends my Black Friday.

Snapfish free customized mug or calendar

Found this great from Slickdeals.net

Go to Hershey's Make Moments Last

Here's the special directions if you don't have Hershey UPCs: "Click "enter UPC's." Sign in or sign up.  Click "Don't have UPC's" and it will automatically generate a code then press "next."  Pick the mug or the calender and it will send a email to your email address and give you the code and the directions."

You do have to pay $5 shipping, but that still makes a cheap gift!

2nd run to Walgreens this week.

I had $2.60 in Register Rewards that expired today, so I ran out last night for a few things (like more half-priced candy!)

On thing I did make sure to pick up was:
Ricola cough drops $.99
Use $.50 off from Walgreens coupon booklet
Use with $1 off 2 from 10/17 SS insert
Final Price: FREE

My retail was $11.64 and I paid $.77 which is a savings of 94%.  I didn't get any RR back from the deal, but 94% is still a firm "A". Right?  :-)
Becentsable also mentioned $1/.1 Reach toothbrush "If you have a Walgreens around make sure to hang on to this until next week because you will be able to pick up a free toothbrush."  BUT, sarahsleals.net mentioned that you can probably get them for that price at Dollar General and therefore free any time.

Walgreens on Monday

Sorry, it seems like I haven't been doing much, but I have, just haven't had a chance to share.

I had to make my day after Halloween runs for candy.  I stock up for my DD birthday coming up among other things.

I knew I wanted to go to Walgreens because I had some RR that were nearing expiring.

I bought the Zarbees Cough medicine for 5.99 and some half-priced candy.  My retail total $13.57.  I paid $0.87 which is a 94% savings.  I received $6 in RR which means they ended up paying me $5.13.

I still have a RR I need to use before it expires Friday, so I'm probably going to make another trip.
