Walgreens Work Out

Did you score your $1.50 for a 12 pack of TP on Sunday?  It was only a Sunday deal because it involved a IVC that started for August and a RR that was for July.  Combine the two along with a coupon and TaDa!  That was $10 in TP for $3.00 which is a savings of 70%.

Now, on to the weekly stuff.

Plus I stocked up on Paper Mate Highlighters for $0.49 each.

I actually made this three different transactions.  It was pain especially when something I planned for was out of stock.  It seemed to have made a difference in my initial OOP, so I ended up with more cash saved but less RR in the end.  So basically, The amounts were the same, but the difference was cash spent vs. Register Rewards earned and taken away.

Retail                  OOP                 % Saved             RR earned            Earned
$12.67                $0.51                  96%                          $4                  $3.49
$15.47                $3.78                  76%                          $8                  $4.22
$16.16                $0.88                  95%                           0
So a total of        $5.17 OOP but no RR

If I had purchased it all together, it would have been something like this.
$44.30                $17.17                  61%                       $12
So, OOP would be $17.17, but I would have $12 in RR meaning I paid only $5.17.

See what I mean.  $5.17 OOP/ $0 RR   vs $17.17 OOP/ $12 RR
