Now the retail was $26.33 and I paid $13.93 which is only a savings of 47%.  I will recieve a rebate for $14.99 (cost - coupon) which means I will have actually earned $1.06 on this purchase.

I ended up having to purchase a $0.59 candy bar because my coupons would take me over zero.

So my retail was $15.96, but I paid $0.57.  That's a savings of 96%.  Then I received $4.50 in RR which means I was paid $3.93.

I actually remembered to check for the retail prices knowing that HyVee doesn't do that on their receipts.  My retail total would have been $22.30, but I paid $10.33.  That's a savings of 54%.
