Walgreens on the way to 4H

Kansascitymamas.com was my starting place, but the razor deal was made sweeter from the FB promotion.

I ended up having to purchase a $0.59 candy bar because my coupons would take me over zero.

So my retail was $15.96, but I paid $0.57.  That's a savings of 96%.  Then I received $4.50 in RR which means I was paid $3.93.

HyVee after 4H

I actually remembered to check for the retail prices knowing that HyVee doesn't do that on their receipts.  My retail total would have been $22.30, but I paid $10.33.  That's a savings of 54%.
PLUS
My HyVee does $0.10 off per gallon with today's HyVee receipt, so we scored that, too!

HyVee Ho-Hum....

I get frustrated with HyVee.  Their receipts don't provide your total savings.  You have to do all the math.  AND when you don't take notes of how much the original retail prices were, then you can't figure your total savings.  That's where I am.  My percentages will be down because it's only the savings from using coupons.  :-(

Kansas City Mamas was my source.

I paid $19.85 for $33.32 worth of items on sale.  I don't have the total retail, but it would be more than that if I had remembered to make notes of original prices!

OK, I'm over it.  {NOT!} So, my savings were 40%.  Adequate, but it's frustrating.

Oh, and we filled up at $0.10 off per gallon.  Remember, I only paid about $20, not the $100 I would have needed in order to get the same deal at Price Chopper.

Price Chopper

Made a trip to Price Chopper.  I was happy the store took my printed coupons for free items without any issues.  Some stores aren't taking them anymore.

Hoarding it HyVee-style

I am not a hoarder.  Eleven boxes of frosted shredded wheat cereal is a stockpile not a hoard!  Trust me.  The way my husband and daughter go through it, I'll be blessed to have it last through the weekend.
