I've really been enjoying FreebieShark.  I've been checking it everyday, but I've hit pay dirt with Mommy Snacks.  She actually has a whole page of freebies.  She has everything dated and even has a link that you can report it as expired.  I've only made it through the D's, so far!  Make sure to bookmark the page, so you can come back and check for new freebies.

Apple Market

Well, the Apple Market closest to my new place still does double coupon up to $0.49, BUT they don't accept internet coupons!  Can you believe it?

But I'm going tomorrow to get a few things that I saw. 

These two items I'm getting because they are cheaper than at Aldi's:
Best Choice Sugar  $1.49  (Aldi $2.39, savings of 38%)
Best Choice Spaghetti Sauce $0.79 (Aldi $1.19, savings of 34%)

The one coupon deal not using internet coupons is:

Coupon for $1.50/2 from 8/15RP
Final price: $0.24 each.

That's about all I'm getting there tomorrow.

CVS 8/16

I'm back!  Been a crazy month with moving and such.  I'm terribly perturbed that because I slacked off my ECB and RR expired! 


So, I now live right down the block from a CVS, so I'm going to jump back on the wagon there.  I'm going to focusing more on family needs this trip rather than saving big, so my totals may not be as great as usual.

It actually ended up kind of being two separate trips.  First time I went through my retail was 30.95.  I paid 20.85.  I only received $2 in ECB because some of the Crayola items were on sale and I didn't know it.  So after sales, coupons, and recieving $2 in ECB my total was $18.85 which is a savings of 40%

I then went back to get another fancier Crayola item.  It was a little more than the $3.12 I needed, but it will be a nice little gift for Christmas stocking or Easter basket (yes, I do think that far ahead.)  So, my retail was 5.99.  I turned in my $2 ECB I had just received making the final price 3.99 which is a savings of 34%.  BUT, then I got my $5 in RR for the Crayola items which means they paid me about $1. 

Dollar General

I hadn't made Dollar General a regular coupon stop before, but they officially take internet coupons now, so that might change.  Especially so, since I found www.sarahsdeals.net which does coupon matching for Dollar General.

Full price would have been $29.  I paid $15 after sales and coupons which is about a 50% savings.  I'm impressed.

New Feebie Site

I found out about a site called FreebieShark.com.  They list at least one thing free everyday.  There's a wide variety. Some things are practical like a toothpaste sample while some are not so necessary like a bird sticker.  But FREE is FREE!  You can also Like them on Facebook. 

Walgreens 7 Days of Photo Deals

Walgreens is offering a photo deal of the day all week long.  Today is a free 8 X 10.  Don't know what the other ones will be.  They are only good for one day, so if you miss one, you can't take have it, but you can have every other day you check in. Just go to Deal of the Day each day through Saturday, August 21. 

Remember, this kind of thing can make a great gift!
